Transmutation & Material Research
My process at INartsXXI doesn't start in the studio, but in an attentive gaze at what time has shaped and man has forgotten. As a material regeneration artist in the Iberian Peninsula, my practice focuses on transmutation: the act of rescuing industrial glass, driftwood, and cellulose fibers from obsolescence.
Through independent research, each material undergoes a cycle of healing and metamorphosis. Paper clay is manually molded until it becomes a tactile "skin"; wood is sculpted respecting its natural geometry. This is the realm of Slow Art: a commitment to time and sustainability, where each piece is a unique example of conscious luxury design.
